  • Hi guys!

    Whenever I update content on my site; https://japanmysterybox.com I often get the “Connection Lost – saving in your browser cache” error.

    When I am not updating anything, the site runs smoothly, having really low pings at pingdom (less than a second).

    However when I try to write a blog post for example, the site suddenly becomes unresponsive, and pingdom shows 7-12 seconds or more, along with a connection ERROR code. Most often, the save feature fails and I have to repeat writing halfway of the post or whatever.

    This is a production site, so I don’t really want to do the usual troubleshooting of deactivating plugins and changing theme and so on. It has worked before so I just want some pointers to what the cause of this may be?

    I am running WP 4.6.1
    PHP 5.6.25
    Apache server hosted on binero.se

    Just letting the site “rest” for a few minutes brings it up to speed again. But I can forget working in multiple tabs like I do on other sites hosted on the same server.
    Any ideas?

    – Please check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.
    – If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find any helpful info in the error logs, try Enabling debugging and post the results.
