We lose connection on the back-end of WordPress when an image is uploaded (“Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected.”). This started since WordPress updated to its latest version. Here’s the log that pops up that directed me to PMP plugin as the cause for this:

[19-Nov-2019 18:21:10 UTC] PHP Warning: session_start(): Cannot start session when headers already sent in /home/elites33/public_html/wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/includes/sessions.php on line 21

What do I do? Have you guys updated since the new WordPress update? The only thing I can do is deactivate the plugin until a fix is found. Please advise. Thanks.

    Hi @robsabo10

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro, I’m really sorry to hear about this issue you are facing. I am unable to recreate this issue.

If you temporarily disable Paid Memberships Pro does the issue resolve itself?

The warning you sent through is just a warning and should not cause malfunction to any functionality, especially in the back-end when uploading an image.

I have passed this onto our development team to investigate further and try to recreate the issue. We are working on a release that will update the ‘Tested Up To:’ version and ensure Paid Memberships Pro is working on the latest version of WordPress.

Correct. I’ve troubleshooted everything. When PMP is disabled, everything is fine. When PMP is enabled, the back-end loses connection on any sized upload.

It only started happening since the newest WordPress update.

The above is just a warning, sure, but that’s the cause. The entire site loses connection for those 20-30 seconds on every upload. Everything works perfectly fine with PMP disabled. I’m stuck. Paid for the $300 a year plan and the site isn’t completely functional unless PMP is disabled. Need help. Thanks.

    I think it’s either the Auto-Renewal add-on or Donation add-on that’s the culprit.
