    I have been trying to edit a Post for the last few days and WordPress is running extremely slow and when I try to update, it will give the message “Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected…” Essentially, it freezes up and I have to close the window.

    I’ve noticed from other threads that this has been a common occurrence with other WordPress users during the last year.

    Since then, I have reinstalled WordPress but still the same results.

    I am running WordPress 3.9.1 running Feature Pitch theme.
