  • We are constantly receiving this message every time we try to post/edit a post in WordPress.

    ‘Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.’

    This makes it impossible to do anything within our Dashboard.

    2 of us live in different continents so it cannot be our Internet providers suggested by WP techs last time we asked. And all is good with our host – no problems there. Please help.

    also try:
    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default, core-bundled Theme (such as Twenty Twelve, Twenty Thirteen or Twenty Fourteen) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue.
