 * I manually installed mysql on my server and restored my database. I can run mysql
   from the command line and specify the host/user/pwd shown in the wp-config.php
   file and connect to the database without issues. When I try to connect via the
   web server, I get a message saying it couldn’t connect, and am I sure the host/
   user/pwd is correct. I’m definitely sure 😉
 * How do I fix?

 * The problem was that I had to symlink /var/mysql/mysql.sock to /tmp/mysql.sock
