# Connection Information problem

 * I’ve just installed a WP blog and when i’m uploading a new theme it asks me for
   my Connection Information !
    Hostname: Username: Password:
 * i’ve tried everything possible and it says that the information i’m giving is
   wrong !
    “Error: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the
   settings are correct.”
 * what should i do ???
    thank you!

 * WordPress is asking for your FTP login credentials. If you don’t know your FTP
   login credentials, contact your hosting provider.

 * Contact your hosting provider just to make sure that you’re using the right credentials.

 * i had a mistake!
    i know what ftp is and i tried it and it doesnt work. Host:
   yourtimetofun.clanteam.com User:yourtimetofun_clanteam and my password …

 * Then either you are entering them into WordPress incorrectly or your server is
   configured to reject the connection. Try contacting your hosts.

 * kk, i’m going to contact them but it may take days till i get an answer from 
   them !
    any idea what can i at least try please ?

 * For now, just install the themes manually:
 * [http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes#Adding_New_Themes](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes#Adding_New_Themes)
 * And, consider switching to a hosting provider that takes you seriously as a customer.
   Most hosting provider support departments have an hour or less turnaround.
