Connection Information and photo upload

    I’ll appreciate your help with 2 situations.

    1) We have a webpage with WP set in 3 languages. On the Spanish section, when I try to upload a picture, it does not accept it. I can not upload any picture to media. But the same picture I can upload in the Portuguese and English section. How can this be fix?

    2) I am trying to update and to add a plugin but now WP is asking for Connection Information, why? and what is this?
