 * 1) Today, with version 11.2 installed, there was an error connecting to my wordpress
   account
 * 2) I have reconnected but the problem has not been solved.
 * 3) I have updated to version 11.3.
 * 4) Error message: see [error txt](https://www.almendron.com/compartir/jetpack/error2/error.txt)
   or [error.jpg](https://www.almendron.com/compartir/jetpack/error2/error.jpg)
 * 5) However, the update appears [as installed](https://www.almendron.com/compartir/jetpack/error2/install.jpg).
 * 6) The problem is not resolved: I can’t connect. Debug: correct compatibility
 * 7) Apache Logs:
 * `Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method Automattic\\Jetpack\\Connection\\Error_Handler::
   check_api_response_for_errors()`
 * I have not been able to associate this error with a specific act.
 * The “connection error”, however, is not recorded in the server logs.
 * 8) Last test: deactivate, delete and install again. I can’t connect to my wordpresss.
   com account

 * Hi [@almendron](https://wordpress.org/support/users/almendron/)
 * While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC
   file:
 * [https://DOMAIN.COM/xmlrpc.php](https://DOMAIN.COM/xmlrpc.php)
 * This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site.
   It must return the following message:
 * `XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.`
 * You can see a working example here:
 * [https://wp.cloud/xmlrpc.php](https://wp.cloud/xmlrpc.php)
 * Since your site returns a 404 error for this page, I would recommend that you
   check the following:
 * 1) Can you see the /xmlrpc.php file at the root of your WordPress installation
   when accessing your site via FTP? If you don’t, then please try re-installing
   WordPress. You can do this by going to the Dashboard -> Upgrades page, then click
   the “Reinstall” button.
 * 2) Do you use any security plugins that may block access to this file? If so,
   could you try to disable them? You might also want to check your site’s .htaccess
   file for any rules that might be blocking access to the xmlrpc.php file.
 * 3) Does your hosting provider block access to this file? If you don’t find any
   plugin that may block access to the file on your site, I would recommend that
   you get in touch with your host.
 * Once we are able to access your site’s xmlrpc.php file, please try to reconnect
   your site:

 * I can access the XML-RPC file without problems
 * [https://www.almendron.com/tribuna/xmlrpc.php](https://www.almendron.com/tribuna/xmlrpc.php)
   return the following message:
 * `XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.`
 * Note: I have two more sites and in them there is no problem.

 * Hi [@almendron](https://wordpress.org/support/users/almendron/)
 * I looked again, and the Jetpack connection is good, but it is in the state we
   call a “site only” connection, meaning that the site is connected, but there
   is not a user account connected to WordPress.com. That’s why the site doesn’t
   show in your list of sites.
 * Your feed loaded fine, but when you’re trying to connect your user account again,
   you’re still seeing the “Unexpected error” message?

 * The problem is precisely that: there is no user account connected to WordPress.
   com. I can not connect.
 * I have tried to reconnect now and the error is the same: [see screenshot](https://www.almendron.com/compartir/jetpack/error2/error-conectar.png).

 * Now. Connection test on [https://jptools.wordpress.com/debug/](https://jptools.wordpress.com/debug/)
 * 1) [https://www.almendron.com/blog/](https://www.almendron.com/blog/) : Everything
   looks great! (Connected with wordpress.com user)
 * 2) [https://www.almendron.com/artehistoria/](https://www.almendron.com/artehistoria/):
   Everything looks great! (Connected with wordpress.com user)
 * 3) [https://www.almendron.com/tribuna/](https://www.almendron.com/tribuna/) :
   Could not fetch your site data (I can’t connect with my wordpress.com user)
 * All three sites on the same hosting.
 * Difference: in “Tribuna” the module “Publicize” was installed.
    The connection
   error occurred with version 11.2, but it coincided with the release of the latest
   version. There are no server-level locks. I have checked it.
 * Summary:
 * In two blogs without the “Publicize” module the connection is correct with version
   11.2
    In a blog with module “Publicize” activated and version 11.2 , the connection
   was broken the same day as the release of version 11.3. Updating did not solve
   the problem. Upgrading to 11.3.1 also did not resolve the error.

 * There is no explanation. This is a mystery.
 * 1) I can’t connect to the wordpress.com user account and the “Social” module
   is not active. See images: [account](https://www.almendron.com/compartir/jetpack/error2/misterio2.png)–
   [social](https://www.almendron.com/compartir/jetpack/error2/errorsocial.png).
 * 2) However, when editing the post, the “Social” module box appears: [see screenshot](https://www.almendron.com/compartir/jetpack/error2/misterio1.png).
 * 3) And publish automatically!!!!!!! : [see screenshot](https://www.almendron.com/compartir/jetpack/error2/misterio3.png).

 * Is there a code (filter) to disable “Brute Force Attack Protection (formerly
   Protect)”?
 * It’s activated even though I can’t connect to my user account. It won’t let me
   access settings and I can’t turn it off.

 * Hi [@almendron](https://wordpress.org/support/users/almendron/)
 * I can see that you still don’t have your WordPress.com account connected to Jetpack.
   There isn’t a way to disable the Brute Force module if you don’t have a WordPress.
   com account associated with Jetpack on the website itself.
 * I’d suggest uninstalling the Jetpack plugin and cleaning all of its data using
   this plugin:
 * [https://github.com/automattic/jetpack-addons/archive/add/jp-rm-options.zip](https://github.com/automattic/jetpack-addons/archive/add/jp-rm-options.zip)
 * You can then proceed to reinstall it and try connecting your WordPress.com account
   again.

 * What are the steps?
    1) disable JetPack 2) Delete JetPack 3) Clear options
 * It is right?

 * I have done a test on a local server with Jetpack enabled
 * Fatal error….
    You have deleted the “plugins” folder All plugins have disappeared
