    Hi,

I already mailed with the Jetpack Support (Ticket 3184461) and send them some Screenshots and Log Files. Now they closed the ticket because you restructured support and provide direct email support only to paid customers. I do understand that. However, I can’t quite understand it if you already have an open support ticket. So now I have to post it all again from the beginning?!

The main problem is a connection error with my site One-Million-Places.com and Jetpack. But its complicated and I can´t find the problem.

    Here are the facts:

    1) If I check my site with the Jetpack Debugger I got: Everything looks great! All tests have passed for one-million-places.com and your Jetpack powered site looks good to go!

    2) If I check my site on the Jetpack Dashbord I got: Your website is connected to WordPress.com. You are the jetpack owner.

These are the good news. Here comes the bad:

    3) When I go the the Site Health I got: Wpcom Connection Test – One Million Places is not connected.: 200

    4) Under Site Health > Improvements is the notice: The scheduled event, jetpack_sync_cron, is executed too late.

    5) When I check my Debug Log I got hunderts of PHP Notices with

Trying to get property ‘post_author’ of non-object in …/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack-post-images.php on line 528

Trying to get property ‘ID’ of non-object in …/plugins/jetpack/3rd-party/class.jetpack-amp-support.php on line 229

    6) When I check my site with the DB Cleaner I always find hundrets of entries under “Expired Transients” from Jetpack like “_transient_jetpack_jitm_d002…”

    7) Your support wrote me in the last mail: Here’s the specific error we’re seeing: http_request_failed: cURL error 28: Failed to connect to one-million-places.com port 443: Connection timed out

    8) And the support ask me if there is a plugin that could cause blocks on my XML-RPC files. I checked my mainpage with “WordPress XML-RPC Validation Service” and got the information: Congratulation! Your site passed the first check. But when I check posts and other pages I got the info: Sorry, we cannot find the RSD Endpoint link in the src code of the page. The RSD document contains the URL to the XML-RPC endpoint.

Do you have any idea how to proceed, find and fix the connection error?

    Michael

    Hi there!

I don’t see any connection issues on your site right now, were you able to fix that?
If not, what seems to be the main issue you’re experiencing?

    Hi,

no, the problem is not fixed.

As I wrote at points 1 and 2, it always looks like everything is ok. But then there are points 3-8 and they still exist…

The main issue is that I got (for example) hunderts of entries from Jetpack in my Debug Log – as I wrote on 5. And that my Site Health is not ok because of the problems 3 and 4.

It sounds like the problem reported here: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/16718

    Please give that a look.

    Hi,

maybe it´s part of my Error No. 5 – but this doesn´t explain all the other problems I have. And here is the sollution in the post of your link?

If I would buy Jetpack Premium, could someone from support take a closer look at it?

We’re still looking into the issue, we’ll post an update at https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/16718 when we have something.
