# connecting to database?

 * I am getting an error message and I dont know why!
    this pops up when I try to
   view my site :
 * ” Warning: require_once(/home/wp_kbb6bx/wanderlustseries.com/wp-config.php): 
   failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/wp_kbb6bx/wanderlustseries.
   com/wp-load.php on line 29
 * Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/wp_kbb6bx/wanderlustseries.
   com/wp-config.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php5/lib/pear’)
   in /home/wp_kbb6bx/wanderlustseries.com/wp-load.php on line 29 “
 * I was directed by someone to a site telling me how to move from wordpress.com
   to wordpress.org as a start of how to solve this problem – but I dont know why.“
   but the database your wp-config.php file connects to has no database”. what does
   that mean? how do I fix that?
 * I host with dream host, and this message started appearing last night when I (
   attempted to) link the host and domain (by entering ns1.dreamhost.com etc etc).
   Im new at this obviously, and clearly dont fully understand everything.
 * The blog I need help with is wanderlustseries.com.
 * Am I correct in that if I am running through wordpress.com that it is all hosted
   through wordpress and that I dont need to be hosted through dreamhost?
    Super
   confused. any help would be appreciated!

 * Dreamhost has a 1-click intall for WP – it works very well. Is that how you installed
   WP?

 * kmiskulin – Can you please open a support ticket with DreamHost and tell us that
   your user ID is invalid?
 * That’s the issue here, it’s absolutely nothing that you did wrong! One of our
   robots was clearly drunk when it did setup and broke the user ID for your site
   🙁

 * Ipstenu-DH THANK YOU SO MUCH! I had talked to a few DH people through support
   but I must not have explained it right because no one seemed to know what I meant
   until I told them what you said!
