Connecting between sites

    Hey,
    I have a multisites wordpress, and I want to make an option, for the user who use this network, that post something in some sub-site, to post it either in the main site by checking a checkbox or something like that in the admin area.

    For example – If I have multisites of animals – One is about dog, other is about cats and the last is about parrots, and the main site is the Dogs one, and I want to post something in the cats site, so I will have some button or something in the “Add new post” area, that by pressing it, the post will be created either on the main site (dogs).

    Is there any way to do it?

    Sites are not meant to be connected like that.

    Why not just use one site and categories?

    That is a very big site that already up and runing, so it’s a problem to change it’s all formation.

    I saw function that calls switch_to_blog(), could it be useful for the task?

    You would have to code the post creator entirely by hand. I don’t know of a single plugin that gives you a unified POST environment like that.
