# connect twitter

 * WP to Twitter failed to connect with Twitter. Error: 453: You currently have 
   Essential access which includes access to Twitter API v2 endpoints only. If you
   need access to this endpoint, you’ll need to apply for Elevated access via the

 * but user authentication settings are ON. It gave me a Client ID and Client Secret
   ID, but there is no place to include this data in the plugin.
    How should I proceed?

 * can’t use 1.0a.
   generate App with readAndWrite options:
 * _**Type of App (required)**
   The type of App enables **OAuth 2.0** Authentication.
 * **Doesn’t allow saving app only with 1.0a Auth.**
 * What can I do?
