    Hi,

    Is any way I can modify the plugin to work with temple search..? For example when someone is searching for job (in website temple search no the one provided by job2career plugin) to appear one job from my website and one job from job2career (to be mixed).

    Hi there –

    I’m not quite sure what Temple search is. Can you provide me more information?

    The way the WP Jobs2Careers plugin search works is a bit different than standard WordPress theme searches. The plugin calls the Jobs2Careers API via HTTP, and those are the results that are displayed. WordPress themes search the WordPress database and return those results.

    Thanks

    Hi @boybawang thank you for answering,

    Here is the website where the plugin is installed oneclickonejob.com and if you search something you will notice that Jobs2Careers jobs will be displayed at the bottom not mixed or at the top ( I want to be mixed if possible ).

    The temple search works like this:

    <form method="get" action="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) )?>">
        <div class="search-box">
            <input type="search" title="<?php echo esc_attr_x( 'Search for:', 'label','injob' ) ?>" value="<?php echo get_search_query() ?>" name="s" placeholder="<?php echo esc_attr_x( 'Enter your keywords', 'placeholder','injob' );?>" class="top-search">
            <img alt="" src="<?php echo esc_url(get_template_directory_uri())?>/assets/images/search.png" class="sub-search">
        </div>
    </form>

    Hi @anoxdox1

    Thanks for the information. I’m afraid that this won’t be possible, unless the developer for the other plugin (or Theme) incorporates the ability to connect to the Jobs2Careers API. My plugin is solely for the purpose of Jobs2Careers. The reason why the J2C jobs show up at the bottom is because the search results are appended to whatever content is on that page. If there’s no content on the page (i.e. an empty page that is only used to display J2C jobs), the results will appear at the top. This is by design.
