Confusing Category Hierarchy

    I got a few Parent Post categories with quite a number of child categories.

    But if only child categories is selected (ticked) and post published and then reloaded, the child categories are no longer listed in hierarchy of it’s parent. The selected child categories now shown at the top, completely out of hierarchy order. This is very confusing.

    Why is that and will a Plugin sort this?

    The categories selected with the post are almost shown first. There might be a plugin that fixes this, you’ll have to search.

    Yes, thanks! Any clues, tips, hints?

    Am I the only one finding this to be a great UX problem?
