    Hello,

I tested both “WP Reset” and “Reset Wp” before, and I found “Reset WP” support to reset the subsite of multisite, and also someone else test it too: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/it-works-with-multisite/

but “WP Reset” does not support even I test it together with “Extended WP Reset” at https://github.com/wp-kitten/extended-wp-reset.

    But I found the notice:

This plugin has a new home in the WordPress repo – wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/ – Please download it from there. Thank you!

they were both updated recently, so, I am confused now, would you please let me know whether WP Reset support multisite now, what is difference between “WP Reset” and “Reset Wp” now?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
I’m sorry about the confusion. We are working on shutting down reset-wp and having WP Reset as the only plugin.

wp-reset and reset-wp started as forks of each other so besides some visual differences the code that actually resets/deletes is identical. Since I know, this plugin is not something to play around with I will not say “it does this or that with MU” because we haven’t tested things 100%. However, it is one of our top priorities!

Our goal is to have WP Reset 100% working with MU and documented so that it’s clear what it does in an MU environment. Can you please tell me how WP Reset failed when you tried to use it in MU? It messed things up or didn’t reset at all?

    Thank you for your time!

    Morning,

We thoroughly tested WP Reset on WP-MU (consequently reset-wp too because the code is the same). At the moment (v1.20) it is not WP-MU compatible. Especially if you use it on the main site. When used on other sites in WP-MU the end-result is OK, but some data might be left behind depending on your setup.

We want to provide full WP-MU compatibility and will make it happen very soon! Not for the release next week, but probably for the one after it.
