[resolved] conflit with co-authors plus plugin (5 posts)

    Hi,

I'm using PPC plugin to set reading authorizations on posts for personnalized roles I have created with Capablity manager. Some of these new roles have authors capabilities.
But I also want to use co-authors plus plugin to set several authors for some posts. But it doen't work properly : only the first author can edit those posts, the other ones don't see them at all in their dashboard, despite the fact that they are allowed to read them in the front end.
If I deactivate PPC, co-author plus works fine (but I loose all my reading exceptions of course).

I'm aware the fact you propose a pro version to set editing capabilities on categories but I don't need so advanced functionnalities, all I need is to have several authors on a few posts, that why I picked up co-author plugin which is supposed to do exactly what I need.

Is it possible to make those two plugins work together ? Thanks for your help.

I am interested in establishing compatibility with Co-Authors Plus, but have not investigated this yet. I should have some time for it in a few weeks.

Press Permit Core 2.1.46 resolves basic compatibility through a new setting:

Permissions > Settings > Core > Admin Back End > hide uneditable posts

Disable that setting when running Co-Authors Plus with PP Core alone. Those running Press Permit Pro will not see this setting, but now have Co-Authors Plus compatibility built into the Pro extensions.
