    Hey vscotch,

    Thanks for reaching out.

In my tests on my dev environment I have not been able to replicate that error. When I run the two plugins together, I’m still able to click on a link to tweet, and it works. I did not change any of the default behavior of the No External Links plugin.

However, activating the plugin results in several errors when I run it in wp_debug mode, which is cause for concern, but I’ve reached out to the other developer to let them know.

In looking through the No External Links options, I see several that could be affecting my plugin. Can you give me a short rundown of how you have the other plugin configured?

Hello! Thank you for the fast answer. The External Links plugin says it uses 302 redirects for all external links and the tweets blocks done by your plugin seems to be external links.

I don’t think I changed any default settings of that Ext. Links plugin. The settings I have are:
    1. Mask external links in posts and pages
    2. Add rel=nofollow to the masked links.
    3. Add target=”blank” for all external links
    4. Log all outgoing clicks

When I deactivte the Ext. Links plugin then your plugin works with no problem.

    Hey vscotch,

I’m not sure how to fix this, since I can’t replicate the error on my end. My best advice would be to try changing the settings (specifically the rel and target attributes of the links.) and see if you can get the behavior to change.

The other developer is not responding to my messages.

I wish I could help more!

Were you able to get the plugins to play nicely?

I’m going to mark this issue as resolved, but I am still available to help with anything I can do on my end. I’ve toyed around with the other plugin’s settings trying to replicate the errors, but I’m not able to make that happen.

Thanks for using Better Click To Tweet!

Thank you taking care of it. I deactived their plugin and your plugin is working now. So I resoled it that way. Thank you.
