@msteidl – Seems to be because you have the same form on the page twice. When you submit the one on the page the thank you message appears hidden in the popups form. Other than that there are no errors on the page. I would try removing the one in your side positioned popup.
@danieliser I already tried deactivating both PopUps created with PopUp Maker – but that didn’t do the trick. Even with the side positioned popup deactivated the problem occurs – only deactivating PopUp Maker at all did solve the issue.
It would be great to find a solution for that as I love PopUp Maker and would hate to switch to another PopUp-Plugin, but my client is somewhat impatient on that …
@msteidl – Sorry for the delay, did you change something with this setup, currently the form when submitted opens a new tab and takes you to a mailchimp page. When you confirm it goes back to that mailchimp page. When on the mailchimp page there is a link back to your home page. Other than that it seemed to work, though we could set up your popup to close after they click submit.
If is something else let me know how we can try to duplicate it as many users use various MailChimp forms without issue. Have you tried Mailchimp for WordPress, it works well in our popups.
Hope that helps.
@danieliser The issue obviously occured due to the JS-Code which was implemented in the form code within the PopUp. Once we deleted that part of the formcode everything worked fine.
Thanks for your support. I still love PopUp Maker 🙂

Michaela
