    Hi,

i post here as requested on other support board.

Prior to install the plugin hummingbird, my site was showing perfectly, even if with low pagespeed performances.

Then installed it and a Plugin started working weird, showing cropped or resized images bypassing plugins settings. Uninstalling Humming bird did not solve.
The other plugin (seemingly broken) is
“Responsive Posts Carousel” by WCP. Gotta notify that it worked properly until the moment before installing hummingbird.

The mentioned plugin managed the posts carousel, with eg: same-height for posts thumbnails. if you go to news section now (3rd block), and “Storie” block, images are resized or wrong-cropped instead

    thank you!

    Hi @mirkob82

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

I’m not sure if this is an issue related to the Hummingbird if we disable the plugin all settings should be reverted.

Is this how that section should show?

If so, had you installed any other plugin too, maybe a lazy load plugin, like WPMU DEV Smush?

I can see something is wrong on that “Storie” section but seems related to how the images are loading:

Could you please try to disable the Smush > Lazy Load and check if the issue is gone?

Let us know the result you got.
    Best Regards

    Hello Patrick,

well, one month ago i installed Smush, that was working properly until today.
about the secion, yes! that’s exactly the problem, and some problem in “Floball News” section too (images were all of same height and width, now they aren’t).

let me check if your workaround does good.
should i re-install Hummingbird to do the test?

update: yes, seems it works now. maybe some conflict with lazy load?

guess i’ll have to jump to another support board again *_*

    Hi @mirkob82

I’m happy to hear it worked.

You can try to enable the Lazy Load > Native Lazy Load and check if makes any difference.

In case the issue persists, as it is related to the Smus plugin, could you create a topic on Smush? So we can track the problem.

About the Hummingbird, feel free to give it another try, our team created a great video playlist that helps the user to understand the score and how to use the tools to improve it.

    You can find it on:

Feel free to let us know if you have any further question about the plugin.
