I have a new website. Photonic installation worked perfectly in my old website, and in my new site, *except* on the homepage. My new site has embedded in the WP theme a lightbox slider. When I have Photonic loaded, the images on the single scrolling homepage layout open duplicated (two lightboxes open). Is there a way I can disable photonic *only for the home page* – and let it run everywhere else?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

(ps – I tried disabling the theme’s js and lightbox features via the photonic plugin and by unloading the masterslider plugin, but both attempts broke my site)

The short answer to your question is no, you cannot disable Photonic on a specific page.

At this point I am seeing a slew of JS errors on your site due to jQuery going missing. I am not sure if this is a problem with your site, or if it is because of my trying this from China (it looks like the whole WP CDN is blocked out here). As a result I am not able to troubleshoot this successfully, however I will be back in the US on Sunday and I can take a look then.

In the meanwhile here are some pointers: Photonic will not disable another plugin’s lightboxes; the only thing you can do is disable Photonic’s own scripts. By default Photonic does not target non-Photonic galleries. So if you have got a gallery or slider from a different plugin Photnic will not touch it. It looks like on your site you have FlexSlider and Master Slider (apart from Photonic), so it is possible that those are conflicting internally.

Thanks Sayontan. I’ve also written the theme’s author to find a solution. Photonic is amazing and I’d like to lean on it heavily for showing my portfolio of projects. I’ll see if I can disable the FlexSlider and possibly masterslider to see if that helps.

    Hi,
I am back in the US now and can see your site without content getting filtered out.

Right now I am not seeing an issue on the page you have linked. Have you been able to resolve this?
