Support » Plugin: Post and Page Builder by BoldGrid - Visual Drag and Drop Editor » Conflict with Zita Theme causing hamburger menu display issue

    Using the Zita Theme and noticed the following problem. If viewing the website on a tablet or phone, the hamburger menu is being displayed. However, the display of the menu has a larger white rectangle shown with the menu icon. If you click it, a blank white page appears – no menu.

    After contacting Zita theme, they indicated there was a conflict with your product. I confirmed that by deactivating the plugin and testing it out. However, I have created a number of web pages using your tool, so deactivating the plugin is not the solution. They gave me the following Additional CSS to add:

    #zita-menu.collapse {
    overflow: initial;
    }

    This solved the issue of when you click the menu icon. The menu page now opens and allows you to select the appropriate menu. However, the display of the hamburger icon is still surrounded by a white rectangular box. I’m waiting for a response from Zita Theme to see if this can be corrected.

    In the meantime, I thought I would report this issue to you as well, in case there is potentially another solution to the problem from your end.

    Hi @scamrp1ckleballclub

    Thanks for reaching out, I’m sorry to hear about the frustration with your hamburger menu.

    I tested out the Post and Page Builder with the Zita theme, and I found that adding this CSS in the Customize > WordPress Defaults > Additional CSS menu did the trick to return that menu back to its correct appearance:

    .menu-toggle .btn {
    	background-color: unset;
    	padding: unset;
    	height: unset;
    }

    Jesse,

    I inserted the CSS and it worked perfectly.

    Thanks for providing the solution and the quick response to my question.

    I’m marking this as resolved.
