    Hi All,

I found a conflict with the WP-Polls plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-polls/), the Powerpress Playlist widget, and the Autoptimize plugin.

With the WP-Polls and Autoptimize plugins enabled, the Powerpress Playlist does not display any episodes – only a gray outline of the playlist widget with white space inside. I’ve confirmed this in Chrome, Firefox, and clean install of IE. This does not affect the Powerpress player (as far as I can tell), only the playlist feature.

The JavaScript error on the page I got (Hit F12 > Console): ‘pollsL10n’ is undefined.

This traces to “devicepx-jetpack.js”. I’m not sure why Jetpack is referenced, I assume because it does something all the JavaScript on a site. I tried adding “devicepx-jetpack.js” to the list of JavaScript exceptions in Autoptimize but that didn’t fix the issue.

Workaround:Check this option in Autoptimize – “Add try-catch wrapping? If your scripts break because of a JS-error, you might want to try this.” This setting can be found in: Autoptimize Settings > Main > JavaScript Options.

Just wanted to post this in case other people run into the same issue. WP-Polls has 100k users so other people may be using this same install configuration.

Note: I’m not a developer and I’m totally running with scissors here. I don’t know how this will impact performance of a site. I host a free podcast and don’t have the funds to optimize my site properly and this was my bandaid.

Thanks for sharing how you fixed the issue! I suspect the WP-Polls and/or Autoptimize plugin use a different version of jQuery which is causing the conflict issue.

For WP-Polls and/or Autoptimize developers, PowerPress uses the built-in WordPress playlist player. It may be possible to replicate the issue simply by building a playlist in WordPress.
