Does this plugin have any known conflicts with Wordfence Security?

I have around a dozen client websites hosted by Siteground, all with Wordfence installed, and the only one that is giving me a “wp_remote_post() test back to this server failed!” error has SG Optimizer installed (all the other sites do not have SG Optimizer installed and Wordfence is working normally).

I tried deactivating SG Optimizer but still got the error from Wordfence. Are there any additional steps that I would need to take in order to completely deactivate and delete this plugin? Any files I would need to manually remove or anything like that?

    Thanks.

Not really, I would look elsewhere for that error. Once you deactivate the plugin, your site stops sending the necessary headers for the reverse proxy to cache, so everything is dynamic. If you have another performance plugin that may be the case, otherwise, I would check any .htaccess rules, etc. Maybe enabling WP Deug can help too but I am not aware of any issue with Wordfence.
