• Good morning, all.

So I use Word Fence on all of my web sites, but one site in particular seems to be having an issue. The theme on this site is PremiumPress Responsive Directory Theme – seen here – http://www.premiumpress.com/wordpressdirectory-theme/

Everything seems to work great until someone forgets their password. Ever since I installed Word Fence, users cannot reset their password. They get the form, and they get the email to reset, but clicking the reset link in the email only directs them to the homepage.

Is there an option in Word Fence security somewhere that I can use to mitigate this so that users can reset their password?

  • I would check your .htaccess file. I’m not sure exactly sure what the line is that would cause the redirect but I’m sure WordFence has written to the .htaccess file to prevent users from preventing this page.

Are you able to access the password reset page?
