I’m having some trouble with The Events Calendar Plugin and the enfold theme. On mobile my calendar doesn’t show properly, it is not adapting correctly. Here is a sample of how the plugin should function. As you see on mobile view there are Dots on the dates that have events and there are buttons on the bottom for the previous and next months. On my mobile version using the Enfold theme things do not look the same ( See Private Link) There are no dots or buttons and the rows and columns are adapting differently. The columns are also squished while using Enfold. Any insight on how to get this to functions properly? I already reached out to the theme developer but they said everything looks fine on there end. I have this issue with multiple websites using Enfold. This error starting showing up after the last wordpress update.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Update* I just tried activating another theme (Twenty Seventeen) and the same issue happens. This issue seems to be with the plugin and wordpress. Not the theme. This thread is having the same issue. Clearly there is an issue with this plugin. Can you please help resolve? It seems whenever there is a wordpress update the plugin develops an issue. This plugin worked fine before the last wordpress upgrade. I tried using the plugin-detective which was recommended in other threads but I receive “no culprits”

I also found this thread to solve the issue but adding that code to the fucntions.php didn’t work.

I’m hoping to get a response that is more helpful than what I have seen in other threads like “Looks like that theme may have packaged some template overrides for The Events Calendar. I’d definitely recommend running through our Testing for Conflicts guide and seeing what that yields.” I need a solution. That is not a solution.

Update 2 I’m working with the Enfold theme developer and they told me to relay to you this

“The calendar requires the following stylesheet (see private field). Please ask the plugin author why it’s not being loaded.”

Here is a link to the stylesheet

    Hi @trevorali85,

Thanks for your interest in our products.

Notice how Twenty Seventeen shows the correct mobile view with The Events Calendar 4.6.21 and WordPress 4.9.8 → http://p.tri.be/RlIYzn

The same install shows the mobile view just fine with Enfold theme → http://p.tri.be/L1gw0E

The site you linked is loading the default Tribe styles.

    <link rel='stylesheet' id='tribe-events-calendar-mobile-style-css' href='https://eldoradoaudubon.org/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/css/tribe-events-theme-mobile.min.css?ver=4.6.21' type='text/css' media='only screen and (max-width: 768px)' />

This suggests the the setting under Events → Settings → Display [default stylesheet] is set to Tribe Event Styles. If you want to import full CSS stylesheet, select Full Styles.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for getting back to me @erishel,

I see the screenshots but unfortunately neither themes work with your plugin on my end on multiple websites I have. I have been using your plugin on these websites for years and this only started a few weeks back when wordpress had some updates.

This is what I see when I go to that page (Link) I do not see any option to set the tribe event to Full Styles.

    Please Advise,

I’m happy to send you over a temporary admin access to further assist and troubleshoot!

It looks like Enfold overrides some of .The Events Calendar‘s settings → https://kriesi.at/support/topic/default-template-settings-missing-from-event-calendar-pro/

Do you get the same result when Enfold parent is active?

I can reach out my team, but I’m thinking that we’re pretty limited in what we can do here.

I’m wondering what PHP version your sites are running. Can you try WP Rollback, take The Events Calendar back a version and see if that does anything?

    Hi @erishel

Yes, this also happens with the parent Enfold theme. Actually all themes…

Like I mentioned in my prior thread the calendar does not work as well the Twenty Seventeen theme when activated.

We’ve come across some other instances of this, even know it seems to be a small percentage — we have logged an internal bug ticket.

We’ll let you know when a fix rolls out!

    Sorry about that 🙂

Thank you @erishel, please let me know when resolved.

We have the same issue. We now downgraded to version 4.6.20.1 of Events Calendar where it still works well.

Glad you were able to roll back. We’ll update this topic when a fix rolls out!

We’ve rolled out a fix that takes care of this issue. If you have updated already, awesome! If not, go ahead and update The Events Calendar 📅

    Have a great day!
    Ed ✌

I updated and it seems working. Thanks!

    Hi,
I have the same issue, just with the Astra theme.
On mobile view the Navigation Menu doesn’t work, The slider doesn’t show, and the Events don’t work.
I have the Events Calendar PRO installed. When I deactivate it, my website goes back working perfectly.

    Please advise,
    Thank you
