[resolved] conflict with the Custom Post Type UI plugin (4 posts)

I'm having a conflict between the Content Aware Sidebars plugin & the Custom Post Type UI plugin.

I have a sidebar that is being replaced by the Content Aware Sidebars plugin. I also have a custom post type & taxonomy created by the Custom Post Type UI plugin. The conflict is only happening on the pages of the custom post type. The conflict is causing the 1st footer sidebar (of five) to disappear. If I disable the CAS plugin, the footer sidebar reappears.

The problem is only with the custom post types page, I also have a custom taxonomy that is not affected, as is the rest of the site which is also fine--only the custom post types.

Thank you for your feedback. What content aware sidebars have you created, and what are their settings?

I feel like an idiot. I spent over an hour looking at this yesterday. I just came back to it today & found the stupidest of problems. There had been a content aware sidebar that had been created to replace the footer sidebar that was disappearing.

Sorry no problem, just user error.

I know the feeling, however, it is great that you got the issue solved! If you have any questions, please feel free to open a new thread.
