Conflict with sitemaps

    I installed the plugin on my wordpress site. But I found that it generates some error with sitemaps generated by Yoast Seo. It displays the following error.
    This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 3 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document

    When I deactivate the plugin the error goes away!
    Any help appreciated.

    Excuse me! It was my fault. One of the files I edited earlier contained some spaces at the end. Removing them makes the problem solved!
