Great contribution to the WP community. Thanks.

There seems to be a conflict between EM and Role Scoper. Event Manager works perfectly but when trying to add a post or a page as a Contributor the forms don´t show up.

I´m copying this text to the Role Scoper forum aswell.

i added their tag to this so we dont have two conversations. I don’t think it’s an events manager issue, it’s probably not even a role scoper bug, just the way you set it up, as other use this plugin with great success and no complaints so far.

No role setting changes seem to work. As soon as I deactivate EM the roles function in accord with the settings applied.

After the initial post I created a Role Group with no permissions and added “Post Contributor” permission to a category.

With EM activated I got an empty area in the middle but with EM deactivated everything worked properly.

I´ll keep on trying but I would appreciate third opinion using the above settings.

am not familiar with role scoper, it’s a hefty plugin (in a good way)

You may just be running out of PHP memory. Try the WP-Memory-Usage and Memory Bump plugins to explore that possibility.

yeah, come to think of it, checking the php error logs or turning WP_DEBUG on would help.
