• After trying to update Caldera Forms to 1.5.5 my site crashed. My provider tells me I have to transfer my site to php5.6/mysql5.6 or php7.1/mysql5.6, because there is a PHP-conflict.
    Do you agree with that opinion?

    Thanks for using Caldera Forms. I’m sorry you’re having this issue.

    Yes, you should update to a current version of PHP. 5.6is the oldest version you should ever use on a WordPress site. I’d recommend (as does WordPress) PHP7.

    Caldera Forms should work on out of date versions of PHP. Still, use PHP7, it’s faster.
