Conflict with other plugin

I have a plugin conflict when I use your plugin along with the plugin “Archivist – Custom Archive Templates” https://wordpress.org/plugins/archivist-custom-archive-templates/

It is the other plugin´s functionality that breaks, your plugin works fine. When I insert their shortcode the page stops rendering altogether. I was wondering if you could think of the reason why it could break and point me in the right direction. I have tested it with several twenty-something themes on clean installations both locally and remotely.
