Conflict with Modern Tribes Event Calendar (Pro)
-
The plugin conflicts with my events calendar and prevents refreshes of the date period (jQuery I guess). Any ideas on what to try?

Hi,
I would appreciate if you could answer below doubts:
1. Is Events calendar a plugin? Kindly post its url.
2. How should I reproduce it on my end? Kindly provide use-case.
Thanks,
NiteshThanks for responding. Yes the events calendar is a plugin, downloaded 511,377 times according to the WordPress plugins directory.
http://tri.be/shop/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/The problem lies with refreshing the results on the calendar, when the link to the next month is clicked then the circular symbol for waiting is continually shown and the calendar does not refresh. When the auction plugin is deactivated then the calendar plugin starts working again.
I’ve re-activated the auction plugin on my site for the next couple of days so you can see, but I’m not in a position to leave the calendar with the problem indefinitely.
Hi,
I tried reproducing your scenario here. Here is what I did:
1. Download & install Events calendar (free)
2. Add some events for month of september, october.
3. Activate my free version
4. Visit events page & try loading events for september & october.
It is loading properly. I suppose for you, its just waiting to load.Events page: http://free.auctionplugin.net/?action=tribe_list&tribe_paged=1&tribe-bar-date=2013-09-03
Auction page: http://free.auctionplugin.net/?page_id=128
After this, I accessed your site & it seems to work fine.
Are you still facing any issues & are you sure it is being caused by my plugin?Kindly confirm.
Hi Mr. Wood,
Are you still seeing this error?
Kindly confirm.closing. In-case you still see the error, just update it here.
You resolved it but I’m closing it but really because it’s a “pro” version issue and that’s not for these forums.
http://tri.be/shop/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
Support for that pro version can be had at this URL.
Which I recommend any pro user go to for support. It looks like a neat plugin. 😉
Edit: Aaaaand I’m re-opening it. Sorry Nitish, I thought this was the support forum for Event Calendar pro. My bad and I’ve re-opened it again.
Sorry, I’ve been replying to your emails assuming these would reach the you. I do indeed still have the issue, I have resorted to temporarily deactivating the auction plugin. If you would like to to check the problem out for yourself I will activate again as you need. I have re-activated the plugin and will leave it activated today.
Should perhaps have stated in previous post, URL for auction is http://hulmehallschool.ismysite.co.uk/pledge-auction/
Events calendar is on the home page
http://hulmehallschool.ismysite.co.ukHi,
Oh! its a PRO issue.
I’ll definitely look into it.With the auction plugin activated the site now fails to load properly, it takes an age to load and the wdiget locations on the home page (including the events calendar) are not shown. I’ll leave it this way for an hour or two and then revert back – unless I hear from you to the contrary
What needs to be done to reproduce it on my end?
Here are below steps, let me know if correction is required:
1. You need a Event Calendar PRO: http://tri.be/shop/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
Can you email this at nitesh[at]auctionplugin.net
2. After installation, Add some events for different month.
3. Activate Ultimate Auction Pro. (Do you have PRO or free version)
4. Visit events page & try loading events for months.
Expected Error – Events are not loaded properly, it keeps on loading.Kindly review above steps & do let me know any changes.
I’ll then configure it on my end & you can disable it on your site.Regards,
NiteshYeah, the steps you outline seem fine. I’ve attached the plugin file as requested. If the problem lies with the free version of your plugin only then I’ll happily upgrade to resolve the issue. I’m only holding back from upgrading in case the issue is not resolved and I need to look elsewhere for an auction plugin.
Thanks for spending your time/effort looking into this.
