    I love the image slider plugin, but it messes with the slider on the front page of my theme which comes with the theme. Is there a way to separate the two and have the image slider block not inherit theme attributes? Thanks!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @albert239825,
    Thanks for your question. I could not find the Image Slider block on the home page. Could you clarify the issue in more detail providing screenshots and page examples? Thanks.

    Hello @dimned

    Thanks for your reply. I was wondering if there was a way for the gitwid image slider block to be independent from the theme. I like the way it looks in the preview but when I publish it, it inherits the theme’s slider styling. When I activate the plugin, it also messes with the styling of the theme slider on the homepage. Screenshots are linked below. Thank you so much for your help.

    Hi @albert239825,
    Thanks for your reply. You may adjust the style of the theme header by adding the styles below to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

    .main-slider-area .slick-dots li{
    	width:auto;
    }
    .main-slider-area .slick-dots li button:before{
    	display:none;
    }

    I have also replicated the conflict of the styles between your theme and the Getwid slider and forwarded it to our developers. Hope it will be adjusted in one of the next updates. You may also try contacting your theme provider probably they manage to do it faster.

    Hi @dimned

    Thank you so much for your help. That seemed to work for the home screen, but the widgets still look off. Do you know if there is a way to add the custom css to the image slider blocks as well? Thanks.

    P.S Do you know where I could learn some CSS/HTML so I don’t have to keep asking people for help? Thank you so much and enjoy the holiday season!

    Hi @albert239825 Can you share a page example with a slider to check how it looks on your site when Getwid is active?
    There are various online courses where you can learn CSS and HTML – free and paid.

    @dimned I included it in the Imgur post. It is the last image. Thanks so much and have a happy new year!

    }

    .slick-prev.slick-arrow, .slick-next.slick-arrow {

    Hi @albert239825, Our developers tested Getwid with the Minimal Lite theme by @thememattic and found that conflict of styles is caused by the theme. We have enqueued slick-theme.css in Getwid in order to apply the default styles of the slick slider while your theme did not enqueue it and so there is a conflict between the default styles of the slider and the styles of your theme.
