Hello @mendelistickmend,
Please give us more details. Are you sure that WP Date and Time Shortcode is causing the issue? Did you turn off all other plugins except the mentioned two and test again? Did you change the version of your LuckyWP Table of contents plugin after installing WP Date and Time Shortcode?
Yes aam sure, I had LuckyWP Table of Contents on my blog and I have been using it for years before installing wp date and time short code months or month ago, I didn’t notice because I hardly view my articles but today I was viewing an article on my blog and I was seeing that my table of contents are duplicated and I didn’t change the version of my LuckyWP Table of contents plugin but everything goes back to normal whenever I deactivate your plugin
Hello again @mendelistickmend,
Where can I see the result of the LuckyWP Table of contents with or without the WP Date and Time Shortcode activated and how are you using our plugin? Where do you place the shortcodes?
(hidden) doesn’t have WP Date and Time Shortcode but (hidden) does, can you spot the difference in the table of contents another example is (hidden) it doesn’t have WP Date and Time Shortcode but (hidden) does, you can see clearly that my articles that I used WP Date and Time Shortcode on that it’s table of contents is duplicated but articles that I didn’t use WP Date and Time Shortcode on, its table of contents is normal
I suppose I can see where the problem is coming from. Let’s see if this is the case and if I we can help.
If you are using the [wpdts-date]
shortcode (or any WPDTS shortcode) it always shows the current date. So if you have it listed on one page/post title then you will always get the correct date for today only in one title. And when the page/post is visited again it will always show today’s date again.
However, if you are showing many titles on one page they will again only show the current date (because you are using the same shortcode). In such case you might need to use [wpdts-date start="post-created"]
and then the post creation date will be displayed instead of the current one.
Please try again using this shortcode above and let me know if it solves the issue.
What shortcode are you using in the posts titles? Please provide an example.
[wpdts-custom format=”d/m/Y”]
[wpdts-custom format=”d/m/Y” start=”-1 day”]
Those will always show today’s date and yesterday’s date.
There are no new posts in the thread. It will be closed. If you still have the issues, please contact us again.
