Hope someone from Nextgen will reply.

I talked to SliderPlus support and they looked at our website. They said NextGen Gallery causes the problem. If NextGen plugin is not active, 16 jQuery scripts load on our site. When it is active, only 13 load.

I hope you guys can fix the jQuery conflicts in your plugin because this is really frustrating.

I have an older website that has been using NextGen galleries for displaying photos throughout the site. The client wants to use SliderPlus plug-in and they are not compatible. Is there any way they can live together in peace and harmony or do I have to rework all those galleries? SliderPlus is more of a priority.

@clickmarketing + @jotodd – I am working from the premise you are referring to the paid plugin SliderPlus from Headway themes.

This may be related to the issue with Headway theme and its gzip compression option (if turned off there have not been any reported issues). We have also included code in our latest beta release to address this specific issue with the Headway theme.

I would suggest trying our latest beta, see this page for more details: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

If the issue continues I would recommend either starting a new separate topic and.or submitting a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) with your site’s specifics.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
