Conflict with Gravity Forms and MailPoet Gravity Forms Add-on

  • 1. Gravity Forms have a feature for popup info boxes on the form design/edit areas in wp-admin. SEO Ultimate removes the background of the popup and pushes the information in the popup into the admin left side menu bar.

    2. Conflict with MailPoet Gravity Forms Add-On….with the latest SEO Ultimate update release V7.6.4.2.

    My admin screen goes to the feared white screen of death mode. I had to go into my server and deactivate everything to get back into admin.

    a. If I deactivate the MailPoet Add-on admin shows just fine.
    b. If I deactivate SEO Ultimate, MailPoet Add-On and Gravity Forms conflicts are resolved and they both work just fine.

    Therefore…it’s gotta be you!<G>

    Will

    OK Big Dog, we will look into it!

    Jeffrey

    Any Solutions yet? Here’s an update:

    I’m having issues and have narrowed them down to two culprits:

    1. Gravity Forms 1.8.7
    2. SEO Ultimate 7.6.4.3

    ISSUES:

    1. Mailpoet Settings Screen (does not load, cannot access help tab in upper left corner, Max limit message and tabs show) when Gravity Forms (no conflict on or off) and SEO Ultimate are Active.
    *Both Gravity Forms and SEO ULtimate must be deactivated for the admin screen to display properly.

    2. Gravity Forms Edit Field Ballon Help Popups do not work with SEO Ultimate is Active
    *UNLESS the forms are set to No-Conflict Mode.
    *Gravity Forms Lightbox form inserts on pages and posts do not work when SEO Ultimate is Active, no matter if No Conflict Mode is on or off.

    3. MailPoet Plugin, active or inactive, NO effect on Gravity Forms Issues.

    Finally, I am using the WooThemes Framework with the Merchant Theme installed. I switched over to Twenty14 but the issues remain…so it is not the Theme itself.

    I have WP 3.9 installed

    What to do?

    Will

    Here’s an update:

    1. MailPoet Issues resolved….I had my wp memory set to define(‘WP_MEMORY’, ‘512M’);
    In addition, needed to set admin memory as follows: define(‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’);

    2. Gravity Form Edit Fields issue remains.

    3. Gravity form lightbox issue resolved thanks to Patrick: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/gravity-forms-and-seo-ultimate-issue?replies=2

    Please advise on issue with Edit Fields….I am being told by Gravity forms this issue is being caused by the SEO Ultimate plugin including its scripts on the Gravity Forms admin pages.

    You need to advise how to fix this.

    Will
