Support » Plugin: BJ Lazy Load » Conflict with Gravity Forms

  • Resolved wedideas

    Hi all,

    We’ve got a conflict with this plugin and Gravity Forms, which we use for our competition and contact forms.

    When a user submits the form entry, normally an ajax spinning wheel appears while the form is submitting and this only takes a second or two at most, but with the BJ Lazy Load plugin running this wheel stays on screen for over 30 seconds – the entry still submits but the user is left thinking the page has crashed – not good.

    Is their a way to deregsiter the plugin from loading on our competition posts? I’ve tried the following but it’s not working…

    add_action( 'wp_print_scripts', 'my_deregister_lazyload', 100 );
    function my_deregister_lazyload() {
    	if ( is_category('wedding-competitions') ) {
    		wp_deregister_script( 'BJLL' );

  • I’ve got the same problem.

    Does anyone have a solution, other than deactivating the BJ Lazy Load?

    I am seeing the same issue myself. A weird issue it is.

    I am currently investigating it, and will let you know when I have found something.

    Thanks Bjorn, it’s a great plugin – will be good to get this issue sorted 🙂

    I’ve managed to get this working with gravity forms using the following settings…

    I’m using BJ 0.6.3 and GF 1.6.12

    Yup, it was the iframe filtering that messed with the Gravity Forms’ AJAX handling (which was through an iframe.

    Just released version 0.6.5 which is supposed to fix this issue – at least it does for me 🙂 Can you please try it, with iframe filtering on and see if it works fine for you as well?
