    After installing Events Calendar I’ve been losing my sixth of 6 blocks (the default as listed in the functions.php file) Changing the functions limit doesnt have any effect while Calendar is on, so I’m assuming there’s something in there overriding/conflicting with it.

    Deactivating the calendar plug-in restores the content. Re-activating solves until any changes are made to featured posts. Not realistic to expect the client to do that step after changing content, and 5 items is not ideal.

    Tried adding the Fourteen Extended plug-in, which brought back that block, but doesnt recognize tags for easy switching of featured blocks. Have since removed.

    Here’s hoping it’s still Wednesday in your part of the world….

    Noticed this hasn’t posted to the main Support forum linked from the Plug-Ins page. Will re-post there.

    In the meantime: I noticed this in the Views directory PHP files

    if ( ! defined( 'ABSPATH' ) ) {
    	die( '-1' );
    }

    No idea what this line of code does but the negative 1 is the only logical reference I can find that points to the problem.

    Howdy Aaron,

    Unfortunately that bit of code is not what you are looking for.

    I tried hard to reproduce the problem you are talking about. Unfrotunately I just can not. All 6 sliders show up for me on Twenty Fourteen with the events calendar enabled. Here’s a screenshot; http://snag.gy/JBhzp.jpg

    I am not sure why we are seeing different results. But as far as our free support I can not help much further with this, assuming we are looking at the same page. Does that look familiar to you? I am using the Default Events Template in Events > Settings > Display. It’s the one that come preselected by defualt. Maybe yours is different? If so, give the default a whirl and see if it fixed it.

    Thanks for posting Aaron!

    Thanks Brook. It turned out not to be related to any plug-in at all (turned them all off and… well, duh)

    Thanks for looking into it.
