• Not your fault here but it’s an annoyance with almost very WordPress author box plugin. WP makes it very difficult to easily copy user data or have them all be compatible. I have existing fields for Facebook, etc. all called by their name. Not surprisingly, this plugin is like many others and creates its own field names, not necessarily compatible with other plugins either. There is a plugin I got elsewhere that does user profiles. It allows you to choose an existing database field / variable to use instead of the one created by the plugin. This would be very useful so that I can use this plugin. Otherwise, all the social fields input by my users will not be seen by the plugin and they would have to reenter all their social data again.

Actually it’s unfortunately an issue with the plugin. It doesn’t seem to set / unset standard WordPress fields so, as a result, any “front end” profile editing plugin may not be able to see the fields generated by the plugin. This is very unfortunate.
