    Hi !

I have a conflict between Elementor’s Carrousel or slideshow when I use il on the same page as the ticker. On the page mentionned, the client has the choice of putting a video, slideshow or static image on the top banner. When a slideshow is selected, the ticker stops working. Is it a known issue ? (I have troubleshooted for many hours and no other plugin seems involved). The banners are populated through a template using ACF.

    I there a work around ?

this temp page has the ticker not working : http://productionsmusitheatrales.sactouris.com/

    Thanks !!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You have a couple javascript errors that need to be resolved on your site. See this screencap for more info: https://www.useloom.com/share/46fe929b8ca7468daa5a5d2b5fc9756b

Thanks for the tip. I finally resolved the problem by inserting the latest jquery

    <script src=”https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.3.1/jquery.min.js”></script>

to the bottom of the HEAD and

    BOOM !

maybe you can suggest it when such conflict occurs. Again, thanks for pointing me in the right direction

Was your theme already loading in a custom version of jQuery? (I didn’t check for that). It is highly suggested to always leave the default version of jQuery that is packaged with WordPress (which is currently v1.12.4) as that’s the only version all developers can count on being used. Once custom versions are brought into the mix, there are a bunch of unknowns.

With that being said, if your site is running fine now, then there’s no reason to adjust it… But, you may run into future issues.
