Hi, that is working as intended. It’s similar as a cache plugin that also needs to be disabled during development.
This is a speed optimization plugin to be deployed to a live site, so when doing development, using a frontend editor you need to disable it (or disable the html, css and js processing on the settings at least).
When you’re editing a page with the editor, what is the url that you see on the url bar?
I may be able to add it to the blacklist in the future if I know the url sample.
Ok, I tried it out and it appends ?elementor to the url when editing, however I had absolutely no problem using it on my theme, so this might be something theme related or some other plugin you use.
Kindly go through our faq to determine if there are any files that can be added to the ignore list.
