    Hi John –

Your User Switching plugin has a conflict with the All In One WP Security & Firewall plugin (AIOWPS), which is quite popular. If I have AIOWPS enabled, and then I use your plugin to switch to a different user, I am just logged out, and not switched.

If I disable AIOWPS then user switching works fine.

Is there any way you can fix this so user switching works with AIOWPS?

AIOWPS is quite extensive. I didn’t drill down to see if there is a certain feature in it that causes the conflict. But I’d be happy to do so if that would be helpful to you.

Thanks a lot for your plugin! Besides this issue it is great!

    Mike

Sorry to hear this. There’s no reason User Switching shouldn’t work with AIOWPS, it works with the other security and two-factor auth plugins I’ve tested over the years.

You’ll need to report this to AIOWPS as it sounds like it’s blocking the custom switch_to_user action that User Switching uses on the login screen.

    Thanks, John, for your reply.

I contacted the AIOWPS team and we were able to isolate it to one feature, the Enable Force WP User Logout setting, which I can live without.

    So everything is working now.

Thanks for your help, and for your great plugin.

    Mike
