There aren’t any known conflicts between Ad Inserter and Yoast SEO.
To ensure no other plugins/themes are involved in the conflict, please check if the problem still happens when all non-Yoast plugins are deactivated (except Ad Inserter) and your active theme is on Twenty Seventeen. If the problem is still the same, we’d kindly ask you to create a new GitHub issue for our developers. This KB article explains how to write a good bug report.
Thanks for the quick reply, I expected to be in moderation for 72 hours.
So here is the scenario, I have 3 ad blocks, 1 on category pages, 2 in post.
My theme is twenty sixteen. All was working fine untill I installed yoast, then ads in posts stopped.
So, I disable all plugins, all is fine until I activate yoast.
But.. when I switch theme to twenty seventeen, with only ad inserter, same thing, ads in category work, ads in post don’t.
So, I’m lost.

Ads in posts are inserted via the_content hook.
