• Hello,

    link: http://www.empressstiltdance.com

I am using a theme called ‘Ideas Fullscreen for WordPress’.
I need a translation option. I have tried 5 different plugins and they all create a conflict with this theme in some browsers making the home page not load the images… (all are deactivated now so it works fine)

I would like to use this Google Language Translator Plugin… so I am trying to trouble shoot with the theme developer.. and this is what they said (basically can the Plugin developer make a work around)

    — It’s happening to webkit browsers both safari and chrome. I see there’s an addition body style code added inline to the tag. It’s not one from theme. The plugin is currently modifying the body tag. The style in conflict is required by theme to display theme functions. In standard the plugin shouldn’t be altering the body tag as the theme it’s activated on might be using it in a different way than the plugin requires.
Could ask the plugin author if there’s walkaround without altering the body tag.

please let me know if this is possible..
    Thank You,
    Blossom

  • Hi blossomyoung,

Thanks for your post – I apologize for my late response.

I can sense that you had some frustrations regarding translation solutions. Did your issue get resolved here? I am not aware of any <body> tags being added on a couple of my sites. Let me know if you would like to work on this issue together.

    Thanks, Rob
