  • I am surprised that I cannot find some easy way to combine easyfancybox or other display of ordinary page/post images and NGG’s own display of galleries through the same or similar scripts. As the two seem to be the standard way of showing images in wordpress, why is there not an easy implementation of “peaceful co-existence”?

I think I tried all the standard ways of turning off and on the one or the other, including custom effect in NGG and this in code window class="thickbox nofancybox" rel="%GALLERY_NAME%"
This causes NGG to work ok, but the easyfancybox display of singel images in posts/pages, won’t close.

  • Why not use FancyBox both for normal images and for NGG images? Set on Gallery > Options, Effects tab, the Javascript Thumbnail effect to “Custom” and fill in the Link code class="fancybox" rel="%GALLERY_NAME%"

Loading the thickbox script at the same time as fancybox will likely cause problems. Do you have a link for me so I can take a look?
