Conflict in latest update with WP Front Role Editor

    Hi, the latest update has a conflict with WPFront Role Editor. Since your update today even admin levels can’t access edit. It only shows Clone and View options. Are you aware of this bug and is there a fix expected.

    WPFront developer is asking if any changes were made in the latest update as to the capabilities the edit link is looking for?

    Hi, In the latest version, ‘manage_options’ role is required to add/edit download items in the admin interface. This is a security enhancement.

    A standard “administrator” account of WordPress will have the ‘manage_options’ role by default. If you are using custom roles then you can contact the developer of that custom roles plugin and give the above info.

    In the meantime, you can download an older version (if you want to) while you sort it out with the other role manager plugin:

    Hi, yes spotted the manage_options in the code – and tried removing it to see what happened but it made no difference. Issue affects admin role as well and they have manage_options, and it still doesn’t work. Will await developer response. Thank you for the previous version link.
