Conflict between YOAST SEO & LearnDash Course Categories

    I am using YOAST SEO on numerous sites without any issue, but first time with LearnDash LMS plugin.

    There seems to be a conflict when YOAST SEO plugin is enabled. Learndash Course Categories (and maybe the rest LearnDash taxonomies) do not display (I get a blank page). Currently we are only using Course categories.

    Once I disable YOAST SEO, everything works fine.

    Any reports for LearnDash conflicts / resolution to this issue?

    Hi Natasa,

    Thanks for reaching out. We aren’t currently aware of any widespread conflicts between Yoast SEO and LearnDash that would cause LearnDash taxonomies, such as Course Categories, to display a blank page. Since the issue only occurs when Yoast SEO is active, it’s likely that a PHP error or conflict is being triggered. Could you please let us know:

    • Which versions of Yoast SEO, LearnDash, WordPress, and PHP you’re using?
    • Whether there are any PHP fatal errors or warnings in your site’s error logs when you access the Course Categories page?
    • If you temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme and disable all plugins except Yoast SEO and LearnDash, does the issue still occur?
