    Plugin conflict between WP Maintenance and WP Multilang

    Step 01:
    01. Both plugins are activated;
    02. I try to upgrade WP Multilang from 1.7.8 to 1.8.1;
    03. Shows success, but… My site just throws a BSOD with this error message:
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpm_get_template() (previously declared in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-maintenance/includes/functions.php:217) in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-multilang/includes/wpm-core-functions.php on line 31

    Step 2:
    01. I deactivate WP Maintenance;
    02. My site is OK;
    03. I reactivate WP Maintenance and I get this error:
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpm_get_template() (previously declared in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-multilang/includes/wpm-core-functions.php:31) in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-maintenance/includes/functions.php on line 217

    Thank you for your help.

  • WP Multilang not compatible with WP Maintenance.
    To get rid of the conflict with WP Maintenance, I need to completely change the logic of the name of the classes and functions.
    Since I’m the only developer of WP Multilang, and now I’m developing functionality, I think I can accept the incompatibility with WP Maintenance.
    An incompatibility warning will be added to the description.
    Thank you for your question.

    @valexar
    I’ll just switch to another maintenance plugin. This is only a small issue after all.
    Thank you so much for your time.
    We all appreciate the good work you are doing for the community.
    Sincerly,
