# Conflict between Cloudflare & UpdraftPlus

 * We host two websites on Bluehost. Both use UpdraftPlus. We had Cloudflare enabled
   on both. One site works fine. The other is showing errors:
 * Warning: WordPress has a number (29) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless
   this is a development site, this means that the scheduler in your WordPress install
   is not working properly.
 * The tasks were related to starting the UpdraftPlus backup. Bluehost recommended
   we disable Cloudflare. As soon as we did and cleared the hung scheduled tasks,
   UpdraftPlus began working correctly again. When we tried reenabling Cloudflare,
   the backup tasks started hanging again.
 * Can’t figure out why one site works and the other does not. Any suggestions on
   what we might look at? I have seen some other postings about scheduled Updraft
   jobs not running but none mention the Cloudflare connection.

 * This is not related to Cloudflare, we actually use this on all of our sites.
 * Your site scheduler is not working, can you try adding the following to your 
   wp-config.php
 * define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true);

 * Thank you. That solution did the trick. My scheduled backups are running again.
