    Hi I’m using WP 3.4.2 and cand Tweet a post because the WP Dashboard showme this message:

    * Twitter requires authentication by OAuth. You will need to update your settings to complete installation of WP to Twitter.
    * There’s been an error shortening your URL! Visit your WP to Twitter settings page to get more information and to clear this error message.
    * The query to the URL shortener API failed, and your URL was not shrunk. The full post URL was attached to your Tweet. Check with your URL shortening provider to see if there are any known issues.

    I allready fallow the wizard and add the custumer key and Access Token. But still don’t work.

    What do i have to do???

    The ‘requires authentication by OAuth’ error means that you aren’t authenticated with Twitter yet. You may have already added your customer key and access token, but that error would mean that something went wrong with connecting to Twitter. Did you get an error message when you connected?

    You may need to disconnect and reconnect; be sure to note any error messages you receive while working.

    Hi,

    it works !!! i just swicht “Switch to http connection. (Default is https)” and connect.
