    Hello,
Someone built my current website years ago with WordPress.org hosted with Bluehost.

I now want to turn on the multisite feature and have been watching a Lynda.com tutorial.
In the video, it is assumed that we are starting from scratch and when explaining how to do the wordpress install, it says “make sure to install in the root level of the domain; wordpress multisite will not work if wp was installed in a directory.”

When I look at my wordpress installation, my main domain is installed in public html directory.

Can someone please confirm here: if all of wordpress files are in public html, can I turn on multisite? is public html the root directory?

When I go on my wordpress dashboard the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are the same so that part meets the requirements.

    Thank you for the help.
    Aloha, Sarah
